The Class III Tribal-State Gaming Compact between the Cowlitz Tribe and the State of Washington was published in the Federal Register today, August 7, 2014!  

This is a historic day for the Cowlitz Tribe as the Class III Tribal-State Gaming Compact is effective today! The Compact was approved by the State Gaming Commission in May 2014 and signed by Chairman Iyall and Governor Inslee on June 16, 2014.  Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs, Kevin Washburn, approved and signed the compact on behalf of the federal government on July 31, 2014 and with it's publication in the Federal Register today is now in effect.
