Behavioral Health

Cowlitz Indian Tribe Behavioral Health (CITBH) program treats the whole person, not just the symptoms. Mental health disorders, substance use, and other addiction behaviors often stem from a combination of emotional, psychological, social, and sometimes physical factors. Many people experiencing mental health struggles may turn to substances as a coping mechanism, and substance use can trigger mental health symptoms. CITBH fosters true healing by identifying needs in all aspects of a person’s life and addressing them together with integrated planning and care.
