Our department, of 12 Tribal members, proudly serves the tribe and assists in any way we can. The Public Works Department maintains 20 different facilities stretching from Vancouver to Tukwila, each of which we do our best tosupport. It is important to us that we keep the workplace clean, functional, and well maintained for anyone who enters them. Cowlitz Tribe Transit Service has been providing personalized Dial-A-Ride transit services in the rural communities of South Lewisand Cowlitz County for more than 12 years. It is our mission to enhance the quality of life for Cowlitz Tribal Members, and the public, through the delivery of professional, friendly, safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services.
We provide door to door assistance to and from the vehicles when needed. The vehicles are equipped with lifts to make boarding easier for passengers who use wheelchairs, mobility devices, or have difficulty negotiating steps.
