BOARDS AND COMMITTEES

Board or Committee	Meetings
Cultural Resources Board	7:00 am, 1st Saturday of each month (same as TC)
Health Board	5:30 pm, 3rd Wednesday of each month
Housing Board	6:00 pm, 3rd Tuesday of each month
Youth Board	6:00 pm, 2nd Friday of each month
Cowlitz Tribal Gaming Authority	Every Other Friday (Closed Meeting due to Confidentiality)
Cowlitz Tribal Gaming Commission	Last week of the month, day varies (Open to members except for executive session)
Pow Wow Committee	5:00 pm, 2nd Sunday of each month
Canoe Committee	As Needed
Drum Committee	3rd Saturday of each month at the conclusion of Culture Day activities.
Education Committee	As Needed
Enrollment Committee	Monthly. (Closed due to Confidentiality)
Cowlitz Tribal Foundation – Statewide Fund	5:30 pm, 2nd Wednesday of each month
Cowlitz Tribal Foundation – Clark County Fund	Quarterly
Indian Child Welfare (ICW)	2nd Tuesday, (Closed due to Confidentiality)

The legacy of an ancient people in southwest Washington is rich with descendants who manage a growing portfolio of health, education, scientific research, housing, transportation, development, elder care, conservation and legal issues. The Cowlitz Tribe is a growing force in community building in what are now Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis and parts of Pierce, Skamania and Wahkiakum Counties, a vast territory occupied by numerous Cowlitz villages prior to non-Cowlitz exploration and seizure. Today, an elected Tribal Council is composed of professionals adept at managing multiple programs and projects.
